This is the second book in the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I couldn't wait to read this book and waited patiently for its release. I was not disappointed!!! What a fantastic and fabulous story. Lot of action; a roller coaster of emotions, lots of bad bad guys and lots of super awesome peculiars. The concept of this book is unique (to me it is anyway). I love the old pictures scattered throughout the book which makes the story come alive.

Ransom Riggs' writing is superb. Each scene is described with the right amount of details and transports you in the area where they take place. There is no dull moment in this book and I have to admit that he totally got me in the end. I did not see this coming. What an ending!!! Now the wait starts until the next book. Patience! Patience! I just can't wait!!!
